MLS: Late Equalizer Gains Road Draw For Fire Against Dynamo; Late Goal Carries Sounders To Home Win Over DCU

Two games were contested in Major League Soccer on Friday.

At Houston:

Patrick Nyarko's equalizer in the 72nd minute carried the Chicago Fire to a 1-1 road draw with the Houston Dynamo.  Alex scored for the hosts in the 56th minute.

At Seattle:

Tyrone Mears scored the only goal of the match in the 88th minute as the Seattle Sounders defeated visiting ten-man DC United 1-0.
