At New York:
New York City came from behind to gain a 4-4 home draw with Toronto FC. Sebastian Giovinco delivered a first-half hat trick (PK-34', 40', 43') for the Reds. He also assisted on Marco Delgado's score in the 82nd minute. As for the Citizens, David Villa scored twice (17', PK-65') while Damien Perquis (OG-29') and Patrick Mullins (84') each tallied once.
At Vancouver, British Columbia:
Kevin Ellis used his noggin to notch the game-winning goal in the 52nd minute as Sporting Kansas City knocked off the Vancouver Whitecaps 1-0 on the road.
