UEFA Champions League Qualifying: APOEL, Dinamo Zagreb, Plzen, Dundalk, Ludogorets Advance To Playoff Round

The third round of UEFA Champions League qualifying resumed on Tuesday with five games.

At Nicosia, Cyprus:

Giannis Gianniotas (90'+1), Vander Sacramento Vieira (90'+6), and Tomas De Vincenti (90'+9) each scored a goal in second-half stoppage time as APOEL FC pulled the proverbial rabbit out of the proverbial hat as they overturned the series-opening road defeat with a 3-0 game-two home whitewashing of Rosenborg and ousted the Trond Kids 4-2 on aggregate.

At Tbilisi, Georgia:

Marko Rog scored the game's lone goal in the eighth minute as Dinamo Zagreb defeated Dinamo Tbilisi 1-0 on the road in game two and won their series 3-0 on aggregate.

At Baku, Azerbaijan:

Michal Krmencik scored the series-winning goal in the 85th minute as FC Viktoria Plzen gained a 1-1 game-two road draw with Qarabag and, with the aggregate score at 1-1, advanced to the playoff round on away goals.

At Dublin, Ireland:

David McMillan scored twice (44', 59') as Dundalk dominated visiting FC Belarus in game two and eliminated the Belorussian club 3-1 on aggregate.

At Belgrade, Serbia:

Wanderson Cristaldo Farias scored in the 40th minute of regulation as visiting Ludogorets Razgrad gained a game-two 2-2 road draw with Red Star Belgrade as the series was deadlocked at 4-4 after 180 minutes, then scored twice in overtime (92', 97') as the Bulgarian club ousted the Serbian club 6-4 on aggregate.
