John Goossens (6') and Razvan Cocis (78') each scored once as the Chicago Fire salvaged a 2-2 home deadlock with Orlando City. Cyle Larin (9') and Kaka (32') each delivered a goal for the visiting Lions.
At Seattle:
Nicolas Lodeiro (24') and Jordan Morris (37') each scored once as the Seattle Sounders held off visiting Real Salt Lake 2-1.
At Houston:
In a match postponed from Saturday due to flooding conditions in Houston, Jozy Altidore's equalizer in the 24th minute carried Toronto FC to a 1-1 road draw with the ten-man Houston Dynamo. Cristian Maidana scored for the hosts in the eighth minute.
