US Open Cup: Hoops Score Twice In OT To Upend Galaxy On Road; Will Host Revs In Final With CCL Berth At Stake

At Carson, California:

Goals in overtime from Matt Hedges (116') and Victor Ulloa (120'+1) enabled FC Dallas to bounce back from behind to upend the Los Angeles Galaxy 2-1 on the road in Wednesday's semifinal match in the US Open Cup tournament.

The Hoops will host the New England Revolution in the final, set for September 21 at a time (and on an ESPN network) to be determined.

Each team has won this tournament once, with FC Dallas (as the Dallas Burn) winning it in 1997 and New England winning it in 2007.

The winner will qualify for the 2017-18 CONCACAF Champions League.
