The semifinal round of the CAF Champions League is set to conclude on Tuesday with two games.
At Rades, Tunisia:
Anice Badri scored the series-winning goal in the 85th minute as Esperance de Tunis defeated visiting August 1st Club 4-2 in game two and ousted the Angolan club 4-3 on aggregate.
At Setif, Algeria:
Walid Soliman's goal in the 31rd minute proved vital for Al-Ahly, who, despite dropping a 2-1 game-two road decision to ES Setif, still won their series with the Algerian club 3-2 on aggregate.
The two-match final between Al-Ahly (who won the tournament a record eight times) and Esperance de Tunis (two-time winners) is set to open in Egypt on November 2, then close out in Tunisia on November 9. The winner would qualify for December's FIFA Club World Cup, set to be staged in the United Arab Emirates.
