UEFA Champions League, Group E: Tuesday Wins For Bayern, Ajax

Group-stage play in the UEFA Champions League resumed on Tuesday with eight games, two of them in Group E.

At Athens:

Javi Martinez (61') and Robert Lewandowski (63'; that's him, wearing jersey #9, celebrating with teammates after scoring) each scored a second-half goal two minutes apart as Bayern Munich blanked AEK Athens 2-0 on the road.

At Amsterdam, Netherlands:

Noussair Mazraoui scored the only goal of the match in the second minute of second-half stoppage time as Ajax Amsterdam defeated visiting SL Benfica 1-0.
