The quarterfinal round of the Copa Libertadores resumed on Tuesday with two games.
At Buenos Aires:
Ignacio Scocco (46') Juan Quintero (68'), and Rafael Borre (84') each scored once as River Plate defeated visiting Independiente 3-1 in game two and ousted their fellow Argentinian club by that same score on aggregate.
At Porto Alegre, Brazil:
Luan (35'), Cicero Santos (PK-44'), Alejandro Sanchez (OG-52'), and Jael Ferreira (PK-90'+1) each scored once as Gremio demolished visiting Atletico Tucuman 4-0 in game two and won their series 6-0 on aggregate.
