UEFA Champions League, Group E: Ajax Gain Road Draw With Bayern; Eagles Knock Off AEK In Athens

Group-stage play in the UEFA Champions League resumed on Tuesday with eight games, two of them in Group E.

At Munich:

Noussair Mazaoui's equalizer in the 22nd minute lifted Ajax Amsterdam to a 1-1 road draw with Bayern Munich.

Mats Julian Hummels scored for the hosts in the fourth minute.

At Athens:

Alfa Semedo scored the winning goal in the 74th minute as SL Benfica (shown here celebrating after the game) defeated AEK Athens 3-2 on the road.
