AFC Champions League: Vissel Kobe Advance To Knockout Stage

Eastern Zone group-stage play in the AFC Champions League continued on Wednesday with three games in Qatar.

Douglas scored the game winner in the 74th minute as Vissel Kobe upended Guangzhou Evergrande 3-1 and locked up a berth in the knockout stage.

In the first of two Wednesday games, Na Seong-eun's goal in the 14th minute lifted Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors to a 1-0 victory over Sydney FC.

In the nightcap, Jun Amano came through for Yokohama F. Marinos as his goal in the 90th minute carried the Japanese club past Shanghai SIPG 1-0.
