UEFA Champions League, Group C: Citizens Advance To Round Of 16; Marseille Eliminated

 Two Group C games in the UEFA Champions League were played on Wednesday.

At Piraeus, Greece:

Philip Foden's goal in the 36th minute lifted Manchester City to a 1-0 road win over Olympiacos----and carried the Citizens into the knockout stage.

At Marseilles, France:

Zaidu Sanusi (39') and Sergio Oliviera (PK-72') each scored once as FC Porto all but punched their tickets to the knockout stage by blanking Marseille 2-0 on the road, knocking the French club out of the tournament in the process.
