In the first of two games, Jonathan Viera (9') and Zhang Yuning (35') each scored once as Beijing FC blanked the Melbourne Victory 2-0 to advance to the knockout stage.

In the nightcap, Bill scored twice as Chiangrai United knocked off FC Seoul 2-1.
