AFC Champions League

 Eastern Zone group-stage play in the AFC Champions League resumed on Wednesday in Qatar.


GROUP E:


Saturday:


At Doha:


Alan Carvalho scored the winning goal in the 60th minute as Beijing FC (China) knocked off South Korea's FC Seoul 2-1.

NOTE:  FC Seoul defeated the visiting Melbourne Victory 1-0 in the first of two meetings on February 18.

Yu Hanchao scored the winning goal at 38 minutes as Shanghai Shenhua defeated the Perth Glory 2-1.

At Doha:


Yoon Bit-garam scored twice (19', 41') as Ulsan Hyundai defeated Shanghai Shenhua 3-1,.

NOTE:  Johor Darul Ta'Zim of Malaysia were unable to travel to Qatar due to COVID-19 travel restrictions after they had been denied permission by the Malaysian government; they were considered to be withdrawn from the tournament and previous matches in the group stage were declared null and void.

Li Shenglong scored twice (63', 79') as Shanghai SIPG upended Sydney FC 2-1.
