UEFA Nations League group-stage play continued on Tuesday with eight games.

LEAGUE A:

Group Three:

At Split, Croatia:

Ruben Dias scored twice (52', 90') as Portugal defeated Croatia 3-2 on the road.

At Saint-Denis, France:

Olivier Giroud scored twice (16', 59') as France doubled up visiting Sweden 4-2 as the guests were condemned to relegation to League B for the 2022-23 edition.

At Seville, Spain:

Ferran Torres' hat trick (33', 55', 71') propelled Spain to a 6-0 demolition of visiting Germany----and a berth in next October's semifinal round.

At Lucerne, Switzerland:

The scheduled match between Switzerland and Ukraine was cancelled after the Canton of Lucerne's Department of Health ordered the visitors to be quarantined due to positive COVID-19 tests.

Aleksandar Boljevic scored twice (25', 28') during a three-minute span in the first half-hour as Montenegro locked up promotion to League B by demolishing visiting Cyprus 4-0.

Janis Ikaunieks scored twice (57', 60') as Latvia destroyed Andorra 5-0 on the road.

At Ta'Qali, Malta:

Ari Mohr Jonsson's equalizer in the 70th minute was good enough for the Faroe Islands as they gained a 1-1 road draw with Malta and promotion to League C.

Matthew Guillaumier scored for the hosts in the 54th minute.
