At Newcastle:
Antoine Sibierski scored the lone goal (69') in Newcastle United's 1-0 home victory against Portsmouth.
At London:
Late first-half goals from Jermain DeFoe (43') and Dimitar Berbatov (44'), combined with Aaron Lennon's late tally (90'), propelled Tottenham Hotspur to a 3-1 comback win over visiting Wigan Athletic.
