Busy Sunday in Italia Serie A

Eight games took place Sunday in Italy's Serie A:

At Ascoli:

Sasa Bjelanovic's 84th-minute equalizer lifted Ascoli to a 1-1 home draw with Fiorentina.

At Verona:

Simone Loria's goal in the 75th minute lifted visiting Atalanta to a 2-2 deadlock with Chievo Verona after having trailed 2-0 through the first 70 minutes of the match.

At Milan:

Hernan Crespo scored the only goal of the match (4') as Inter Milan took over outright sole possession of first place in the Serie A standings after their 1-0 home win over Reggina.

At Livorno:

Three different goal scorers powered Livorno to a 3-0 home whitewashing of Parma.

At Messina:

Stefano Mauri's double (10', 82') helped powered visiting Lazio to an easy 4-1 victory over Messina.

At Rome:

It was obvious that homestanding AS Roma sent a message to the rest of Italy about their title ambitions. Christian Panucci (12', 48') and Simone Perrotta (24', 40') eached scored twice as the Magic cuffed, stuffed, and undressed nine-man Catania Calcio 7-0

At Udine:

With Vincenzo Iaquinta scoring twice (PK-44', 79'), Udinese belted visiting AC Siena 3-0.

At Turin:

Alessandro Rosina's 80th-minute successful penalty kick guided Torino to a 1-0 home win over Sampdoria.
