PSV Back On Top Of Eredivisie Table After Toppling Ajax

Five games were played Sunday in the Dutch Eredivisie:

At Amsterdam:

Timmy Simons scored the only goal (63') in PSV Eindhoven's 1-0 road win over Ajax Amsterdam, thus enabling the guests to move to the top of the Eredivisie standings.

At Arnhem:

Vitesse Arnhem doubled up visiting FC Utrecht 4-2, with four different goal scorers scoring one goal each.

At Rotterdam:

Sparta Rotterdam defeated visiting ADO Den Haag, 2-1, in a battle of struggling clubs toiling in the relegation zone. Danny Schenkel scored the game winner in second-half stoppage time.

At Tilburg:

Danny Buys (33', 67') and Joonas Holkka (54', 61') each scored twice as Feyenoord Rotterdam picked up a 5-3 road win at Willem II Tilburg's expense.

At Enschede:

Blaise N'Kuto (PK-16', 71'), Kennedy Bakircioglu (45', 50'), and Sergio Zijler (89', 90') each scored twice as Twente Enschede destroyed visiting FC Groningen 7-1.
