Rennes Hands Lyon First Loss

At Rennes:

Stephane Moia scored the only goal of the match (13') at Rennes handed Lyon their first defeat of the current Ligue 1 season 1-0.

At Sedan:

Gregory Pujol's equalizer (62') enabled Sedan to gain a 1-1 draw with visiting Nantes.

At Auxerre:

Thanks to Ismael Bangoura's hat trick (15', PK-81', 90'), LeMans bounced back from a 2-1 deficit to post a 3-2 road win against AJ Auxerre.

At Montebeliard:

Homestanding Sochaux, on the strength of Guirane N'Daw's goal in the 67th minute, defeated visiting Troyes 1-0.

At Marseille:

Andre-Pierre Gignac powered visiting Lorient to a 1-0 win over Marseille with his 48th-minute tally.

At St. Etienne:

Bafetimbi Gomis scored twice (23', 87') to help lead St. Ettiene to a 3-0 home whitewashing of Toulouse.

At Monte Carlo:

Goalkeeper Flavio Roma's save of an Ederson penalty kick in the 86th minute preserved AS Monaco's 0-0 home draw with Nice.

At Valenciennes:

Lille used three different goal scorers to hand Valenciennes their first home defeat of the season, 3-0.
