Seven Games On Sunday In Spain

Seven games were played Sunday in Spain's Premiera Liga:

At Bilbao:

Athletic Bilbao settled for a 0-0 home deadlock with Racing Santander.

At Villarreal:

Homestanding Villarreal came back twice from behind to defeat Real Betis 3-2. Pacal Cygan scored the equalizer in the 57th minute, and Ruben Cani tallied the game winner in the 58th.

At Seville:

Thanks to goals from Frederic Kanoute (PK-50') and Adriano (88'), FC Sevilla defeated visiting Osasuna 2-0 to climb to the top of the Spanish Premier League standings.

At Madrid:

With goals from Anderson Nene (36') and Jorge Larena (82'), Celta Vigo handed Real Madrid their first home loss of the season, 2-1.

At Zaragoza:

With three different goal scorers, Real Zaragoza pinned a 3-1 defeat on visiting Getafe.

At Barcelona:

Espanyol and visiting Valencia battled to a 1-1 stalemate.

At Huelva:

Mario scored the game winner in the 90th minute as hosts Recreativo Huelva came from behind and defeated struggling Gimnastic de Tarragona 2-1.
