Busy Saturday In Scotland

Five games were played Saturday in the Scottish Premier League:

At Falkirk:

Liam Craig scored what would be the game winner (21') as Falkirk held off visiting Hibernian 2-1.

At St. Mirren:

Visting (and cellar-dwelling) Dunferline and St. Mirren battled to a 0-0 deadlock.

At Edinburgh:

Steve Lovell scored the lone goal of the match (87') to lead visiting Aberdeen to a 1-0 win over Hearts to move into second place in the SPL standings.

At Inverness:

Steven Naismith (29, PK-68') and Colin Nish (35', 50') each scored twice as Kilmarnock came back from a 3-2 halftime deficit to defeat Inverness Caledonian Thistle 4-3 on the road.

At Motherwell:

Noel Hunt's game-winning tally (79') lifted ten-man Dundee United to a 3-2 win over homestanding Motherwell.
