Busy Sunday in Serie A

Seven games were contested Sunday in Italy's Serie A:

At Ascoli:

With Alessandro Rosino scoring twice (PK-59', 90'). Torino defeated Ascoli 2-0. The hosts are now the only remaining winless team in the four big European leagues.

At Milan:

Thanks to goals from Marca Materazzi (49') and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (59'), Inter Milan racked up another win, this time a 2-0 home decision over Messina.

At Leghorn:

Christiano Lucarelli's 65th-minute equalizer enabled Livorno to gain a 1-1 home draw with rising Lazio.

At Parma:

Chievo Verona gained a 2-2 road deadlock with Parma, thanks to Lorenzo D'anna's 66th-minute equalizer.

At Reggio Calabria:

Fabio Quagliarella scored the only goal in the match (68') as visiting Sampdoria defeated Reggina 1-0.

At Siena:

Mario Frick's goal in the 85th minute lifted AC Siena to a 1-1 home stalemate with Atalanta.

At Rome:

Alessandro Mancini (44', 83') and Francesco Totti (PK-56', 90') each scored twice
as AS Roma put the big-time hurt on visiting Palermo 4-0.
