In Tuesday lone match from the third round of qualifying for the 2008-09 UEFA Champions League, Adrian Mutu (3') and Alberto Gilardino (57') each scored once to lead Fiorentina to a 2-0 home win in game one of their two-match set with Czech club Slavia Prague.
The other fifteen two-match sets for the right to play in the group stage will open on Wednesday.
