At Laredo, Texas:
The Thunder Bay Chill, after finishing 120 minutes deadlocked at 1-1 with the Laredo Heat (and playing most of the second half and overtime with only ten men) won the penalty kick shootout 3-1 to win the Premier Development League championship Saturday night. The PDL is the third tier within the United Soccer Leagues, and forth overall in the US soccer pyramid.
