UCL Group B: Home Wins For Lyon and Schalke

Group B action in the UEFA Champions League continued on Wednesday.

At Lyon, France:

Lyon continued their perfect start to their group stage campaign with a 2-0 home win over SL Benfica.  Jimmy Briand (21') and Lisandro Lopez (51') each scored a goal for the hosts.  Here is the Eagles' Nicolas Gaitan being shown the red card by referee Alberto Mallenco while Lyon's Cris looks on in approval.

At Gelsenkirchen, Germany:

Raul scored twice (3', 58', his second goal is pictured here) as Schalke defeated visiting Hapoel Tel Aviv 3-1.
