UEFA Champions League, Group D: Sevilla and Juve Gain Tuesday Triumphs

Two Group D games were contested on Tuesday, the opening day of UEFA Champions League group-stage action.

At Manchester, England:
Morata earns Juventus victory at Manchester City
Alvaro Morata (that's him celebrating with teammate Mario Mandzukic) scored the winning goal in the 81st minute as Juventus came from behind to upend Manchester City 2-1 on the road.

At Seville, Spain:
Sevilla make Mönchengladbach pay the penalty
Kevin Gameiro (PK-47', that's him celebrating after scoring), Ever Banega (PK-66'), and Yevhen Konoplyanka (84') delivered the goal power as Sevilla broke open what had been a scoreless stalemate at halftime and turned it into a 3-0 domination of visiting Borussia Monchengladbach.
