UEFA Champions League, Group A: PSG, Galacticos Gather Tuesday Wins

Group-stage play in the UEFA Champions League commenced on Tuesday with eight games, two of them in Group A:

At Paris:

Angel di Maria (4', that's him celebrating with teammates) and Edison Cavani (61') each scored once as Paris Saint-Germain blanked visiting Malmo FF 2-0.

At Madrid:

Cristiano Ronaldo produced a natural second-half hat trick (PK-54', PK-63', 81') as Real Madrid demolished visiting Shakhtar Donetsk 4-0.  Yep, that's ol' CR7 celebrating after his second goal. He's now scored 80 goal career-wise in Champions League play, more than anyone else in the history of the tournament.
