MLS: Five Stripes Dominate Hoops In Successful MBS Debut; Crew And SKC Draw 1-1 In Columbus; Likewise Sounders And Galaxy In Seattle

Three games were contested in Major League Soccer on Sunday.

At Columbus, Ohio:

Ola Kamara's equalizer in the opening minute of first-half stoppage time enabled the Columbus Crew to salvage a 1-1 home draw with Sporting Kansas City.  

Cristian Lobato scored at 19 minutes for the guests.



At Atlanta:

In front of 45, 314 fans, Leadro Gonzalez Pirez (14'), Josef Martinez (46'), and Greg Garza (68') each scored once while Brad Guzan delivered a shutout as Atlanta United made their Mercedes-Benz Stadium debut a rousing success by dominating visiting FC Dallas 3-0.



At Seattle:

Lamar Neagle's equalizer in the 85th minute carried the ten-man Seattle Sounders to a 1-1 home draw with the Los Angeles Galaxy.  Gyasi Zardes tallied for the visitors in minute #25.
