UEFA Champions League, Group E: Home Win For Sevilla; Reds And Spartak Draw In Moscow

Eight games, two of them in Group E, were contested as UEFA Champions League group-stage play resumed on Tuesday.

At Seville, Spain:

Wissam Ben Yedder (that's him, on the right, celebrating with teammate Joaquin Correa after his third goal) produced a hat trick (27', 38', PK-83') as Sevilla dominated visiting NK Maribor 3-0.

At Moscow:

Philippe Coutinho's equalizer in the 31st minute lifted Liverpool to a 1-1 road draw with Spartak Moscow.  Fernando scored at 23 minutes for the hosts.  Here, we see Spartak coach Massimo Carrera observing.

1. Sevilla (GP: 2; GD: +3; PTS: 4)
2. Liverpool (GP: 2; GD: 0; PTS: 2)
3. Spartak Moscow (GP: 2; GD: 0; PTS: 2)
4. NK Maribor (GP: 2; GD: -3; PTS: 1)

NOTE: After two games apiece, Liverpool has scored three total goals, Spartak Moscow two.
