Rafael Silva's goal in the 12th minute was the game and series winner on Wednesday as Urawa Red Diamonds took game two of their AFC Champions League semifinal series with China's Shanghai SIPG 1-0 at home and won their East Region series 2-1 on aggregate.
The Reds will face Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal in the two-match final, which starts at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 18, with the return contest set for Saitama on November 25.
The winner will advance to December's FIFA Club World Cup tournament, set to be staged in the United Arab Emirates.
