MLS: Timbers, Sounders, SKC, Dynamo Clinch Playoff Berths

Eleven games were contested in Major League Soccer on Sunday.

At Bridgeview, Illinois:

Nemanja Nikolic produced a hat trick (3', PK-64', 78') as the Chicago Fire came from behind to upend the visiting Philadelphia Union 3-2. 

At Foxborough, Massachusetts:

Diego Fagundez scored twice (51', 90'+2) as the New England Revolution held off visiting New York City 2-1.

At Harrison, New Jersey:

The New York Red Bulls and visiting Atlanta United, two playoff-bound clubs,  battled to a 0-0 stalemate.

At Orlando, Florida:

Osa Kamara scored the only goal of the Columbus Crew's 1-0 road win over Orlando City in the 66th minute.

At Toronto:

Jozy Altidore scored the only goal of Toronto FC's 1-0 home win over the Montreal Impact in the 16th minute.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Josh Gatt's goal in the third minute held up as the Colorado Rapids delivered a major blow to Real Salt Lake's playoff chances by defeating the guests 1-0.

At Kansas City, Kansas:

The visiting Houston Dynamo and Sporting Kansas City both clinched playoff berths after their contest ended in a 0-0 deadlock.

At Carson, California:

Romain Alessandrini scored twice (11', 90'+3) as the Los Angeles Galaxy dominated visiting Minnesota United 3-0.

At Seattle:

Will Bruin scored twice (64'. 67') as the Seattle Sounders demolished visiting FC Dallas 4-0 to lock up a berth in the upcoming MLS Cup Playoffs putting a crimp in the Hoops' playoff chances.

At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Valeri Vako Qazaishvili's equalizer in the 77th minute lifted the San Jose Earthquakes to a 1-1 road draw with the Vancouver Whitecaps, allowing the Quakes move into the sixth and final Western Conference playoff spot with one game left while preventing the hosts from wrapping up the Western Conference regular-season title.  Yordy Reyna scored for the Caps in the 29th minute.

At Portland, Oregon:

Sebastian Blanco scored twice (60', 86') as the Portland Timbers locked up a playoff berth by demolishing visiting DC United 4-0.
