FIFA World Cup Qualifying (CONCACAF): Jozy Makes Things Rosy For Team USA ; El Tri Down Soca Warriors; Trinidad and Tobago Eliminated

CONCACAF-regional qualifying for next year's FIFA World Cup resumed on Friday with two games (Costa Rica's scheduled home match with Honduras was postponed until Saturday due to weather issues).

At Orlando, Florida:

Jozy Altidore scored twice (19', PK-43') as the United States climbed back up to third place in the Hexagonal Round standings after their 4-0 demolition of visiting Panama.



At San Luis Potosi, Mexico:

Hirving Lozano (78'), Javier Hernandez (88'), and Hector Herrera (90'+4) each scored once late in the second half as Mexico defeated visiting Trinidad and Tobago 3-1, eliminating the Soca Warriors from any shot at qualifying for Russia 2018.
