In the lone Tuesday contest in the playoff round for places in the group stage of the Europa League, Jadson (PK-21) and Luiz Adriano (PK-59') provided the successful penalty kicks that lifted Shakhtar Donetsk to a 2-0 win in game two over visiting Sivasspor and took out the Turkish club in the two-game set 5-0 on aggregate. Last year's UEFA Cup winners will play in the group stage of its' successor.
The 37 other playoff round series will conclude on Thursday.
