Before the largest crowd to watch a soccer match in the United States since the 1994 World Cup---93,137 at the Rose Bowl---FC Barcelona defeated the Los Angeles Galaxy 2-1 in an international exhibition match on Saturday night.
Pedro Rodriguez (11') and Jeffren Suarez (67') scored for the reigning Spanish and European champs, while David Beckham scored for the Galaxy in the 45th minute on a free kick from just outside Barca's penalty area.
