At East Rutherford, New Jersey:
With Maykel Galindo (14') and Eduardo Lillingston (90') each scoring a goal, Chivas USA extended the New York Red Bulls' winless streak to 14 with a 2-0 road win.
At Columbus, Ohio:
The Columbus Crew registered their fifth straight win, 2-0 at home over FC Dallas. Chad Marshall (10') and Eddie Gaven (87') each scored once for the defending champions.
At Carson, California:
Steve Zakuani (22') and Fredy Montero (54') each contributed a goal as Seattle Sounders FC knocked off the Los Angeles Galaxy 2-0 on the road.
At Sandy, Utah:
Goalkeeper Pat Onstad saved six shots as the Houston Dynamo held homestanding Real Salt Lake to a 0-0 stalemate.
