Itamar Batista Da Silva's equalizer for Tigres at 43 minutes sent the final of the North American SuperLiga, deadlocked at 1-1 after regulation time, into the penalty-kick shootout on Wednesday (there were no overtime periods), where Gaston Fernandez, Lucas Ayala, Armando Pulido, and Itamar Batista Da Silva all converted as the Mexican club won the crown, topping the Chicago Fire in the shootout 4-3.
