Becks: Out Six Months After Achilles Tendon Surgery

David Beckham underwent surgery on Monday, and according to doctors, it was a totally torn Achilles tendon.  He's expected to out for six months.  As you remeber, David suffered the injury late in AC Milan's home win over Chievo Verona.  His dream of taking part in a fourth FIFA World Cup has gone up in smoke.  This was his second loan spell with Milan from the Los Angeles Galaxy, and for Major League Soccer, another Maalox Moment.
