Clarence Seedorf scored the only goal of the match in second-half stoppage time (90'+1) as AC Milan crawled within one point of front-running Inter Milan atop the Serie A standings on Sunday with a 1-0 home win over Chievo Verona. The Rossoneri, though, lost the services of David Beckham with a torn Achilles tendon. The England international midfielder will be going to Finland for surgery and will miss this year's World Cup.
