At Portsmouth, England:

Frederic Piquionne provided both goals (67', 70') as Portsmouth blanked visiting Birmingham City 2-0 to reach the semifinal round. 

At London:

In a London derby, Tottenham Hotspur held hosts Fulham to a 0-0 stalemate, forcing a replay at Spurs' home pitch on March 24.
