David Beckham assisted on goals scored by Edson Buddle (19') and Omar Gonzalez (27') as the Los Angeles Galaxy held off the visiting Seattle Sounders 2-1 on Sunday in game two of their Western Conference semifinal series and took the two-game set 3-1 on aggregate as the opening round of the Major League Soccer playoffs drew to a conclusion. Next Sunday, the Galaxy will play host to FC Dallas in the single-game Western Conference final, with the winner playing the winner of next Saturday's Eastern final (San Jose at Colorado) to play in the MLS Cup final, which will take place on November 21 in Toronto.
