Bobby Convey scored twice (6', 75') while Chris Wondolowski scored the series winner at 81 minutes as the San Jose Earthquakes recovered from their game-one home defeat of last week with a 3-1 road win over the New York Red Bulls in game two on Thursday night, enabling the Quakes to win their Eastern Conference semifinal series 3-2 on aggregate as the Major League Soccer playoffs continued. San Jose will face the winner of the Colorado-Columbus series on the road in the one-game Eastern Conference final.
