UCL Group A: Spurs And Inter Clinch Berths In Knockout Stage

Match Day #5 in UEFA Champions League group stage action concluded on Wednesday with eight games, two of them in Group A.

At Milan, Italy:



Esteban Cambriasso (that's him pictured here) scored the only goal of the match at 55 match as Inter Milan sewed up a berth in the knockout stage of the Champions League with a 1-0 home shutout over FC Twente, who will be playing in the Europa League's Group of 32.

Younes Kaboul (6'),  Luka Modric (45', that's him shown here), and Peter Crouch (79') each scored once as Tottenham Hotspur bashed visiting Werder Bremen 3-0 to lock up a berth in the knockout stage.  The German club were eliminated from European competition.
