UCL Group D: Barca Win Group; Rubin Kazan Top FC Copenhagen To Stay Alive

Two games populated the UEFA Champions League Group D schedule.

At Athens, Greece:

Panathinaikos v Barcelona

Pedro scored twice (27', 69', that's him celebrating with teammates after he opened the scoring) and Lionel Messi added another goal (62',) as Barcelona won Group D and eliminated Panathinaikos from European competition with a 3-0 domination of the Greek club on the road.

At Kazan, Russia:

Rubin Kazan vs FC Copenhagen

Christian Noboa's successful penalty kick (45', that's him and his teammates celebrating) provided all the scoring as FK Rubin Kazan kept their hopes of advancing into the Champions League's knockout stage by defeating visiting FC Copenhagen 1-0.
