Group stage play in the UEFA Champions League resumed with eight games on Tuesday, two of them in Group E.
At Rome:
Marco Borriello (49'), Daniele De Rossi (81'), and Francesco Totti (PK-84', shown here) provided the second-half scoring as AS Roma erased a two-goal halftime deficit and knocked off visiting (and already knockout-stage-bound) Bayern Munich 3-2.

At Basel, Switzerland:
Federico Almerares scored the only goal of the match at 15 minutes as FC Basel kept their hopes of advancing to the knockout stage alive with a 1-0 home win over CFR Cluj. Despite the galant effort shown here by goalkeeper Nunu Claro, saving a shot from Basel's Alexander Frei, the Romanian club were still eliminated from European competition.
