CONCACAF Champions League: Rough Night For MLS Clubs

Three games were played on Tuesday as CONCACAF Champions League group stage action resumed.


Group A:


At Morelia, Mexico:


Adrian Alderete scored the equalizer in the 83rd minute and Miguel Sabah notched the game winner in second-half stoppage time (90'+2) as Morelia came from behind to upend the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy 2-1.


Group B:


At Commerce City, Colorado:


Four different goal scorers----Daniel Luduena (14'), Oribe Peralta Morones (26'), Carlos Darwin Quintero (63'), and Cristian Suarez (70')----each delivered a score as Santos Laguna dominated the home standing Colorado Rapids 4-1.


At San Pedro Sula, Honduras:


With Ernesto Aquino (8') and Allan Kardeck Santos Pereira (57') providing the goal power, Isidro Metapan knocked off Real Espana 2-1 on the road.


GROUP B STANDINGS:
