Goals in the second half from Joel Lindpere (61') and Thierry Henry (90'+8) enabled the New York Red Bulls to knock off FC Dallas 2-0 on the road in their wild-card playoff match as the MLS Cup Playoffs commenced on Wednesday. Goalkeeper Frank Rost made eight saves to preserve his shutout. The Red Bulls will next face the Los Angeles Galaxy in a two-match Western Conference semifinal series, which starts this coming Sunday at Harrison, New Jersey.
