UEFA Champions League Group G: Zenit And Shaktar Battle To 2-2 Draw In Ukraine; Dragons Held To 1-1 Home Draw By APOEL

Group G play in the UEFA Champions League reached the midway point with two Wednesday matches.

At Donetsk, Ukraine:





Zenit Saint Petersburg, with goals scored by Roman Shirokov (33', that's him, on the right, celebrating with Danny) and Viktor Fayzulin (60'), gained a 2-2 road draw with Shakhtar Donetsk.  The hosts' tallies came courtesy of Willian (15') and Luiz Adriano (45'+1).

At Porto, Portugal:





Ailton scored at 19 minutes (that's him celebrating) as APOEL FC gained a 1-1 road draw with FC Porto.  Hulk scored for the Dragons in the 13th minute.
