Group-stage action in the UEFA Champions League reached the midway point on Wednesday with eight games played, two of them in Group E.

At Leverkusen, Germany:





Andre Schurrle (52') and Sidney Sam (56', that's him celebrating) each scored a goal four minutes apart in the second half as Bayer Leverkusen came from behind to defeat visiting Valencia 2-1.

At London:





Fernando Torres scored twice (11', 27', that's him celebrating) as Chelsea demolished visiting KRC Genk 5-0.
