UEFA Champions League, Group B: Barca Lock Up Top Spot In Group; Big Win For Spurs Against Inter Milan To Stay Alive

Two Wednesday games were on the docket in Group B of the UEFA Champions League.

At Eindhoven, Netherlands:

Lionel Messi (61') and Gerard Pique (70'; celebration took place, as shown here, afterward) each scored a goal as Barcelona locked up top spot in Group B by holding off PSV Eindhoven 2-1 on the road and knocking the Dutch club out of European competition.

At London:

Christian Eriksen scored the only goal of the match in the 80th minute as Tottenham Hotspur defeated visiting Inter Milan 1-0.

2.    Tottenham Hotspur (GP: 5; GD: -1; PTS: 7)

NOTE:  In head-to-head road goals, Tottenham Hotspur outscored Inter Milan 1-0.
