UEFA Champions League, Group E: Home Win For Bayern; Ajax and Benfica Draw in Lisbon; AEK Eliminated

Eight games were contested, two of them in Group E, as UEFA Champions League group-stage play continued on Wednesday.

At Munich:

Robert Lewandowski scored twice (PK-31', 71'; that's him after celebrating his second goal) as Bayern Munich blanked visiting AEK Athens 2-0, eliminating the Greek club from the tournament.

At Lisbon:

Dusan Tadic's equalizer in the 61st minute carried Ajax Amsterdam to a 1-1 road draw with SL Benfica.

Jonas Goncalves Oliveira scored for the Eagles in minute  #29.

2.     Ajax Amsterdam (GP: 4; GD: +4; PTS: 8)
3.     SL Benfica (GP: 4; GD: -2; PTS: 4)
4. z-AEK Athens (GP: 4; GD: -8; PTS: 0)

z-Eliminated from tournament but still alive for a berth in the Europa League's knockout stage.
