UEFA Champions League, Group G: Road Win For Roma

Two games were contested in Group G of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

At Moscow:

Lorenzo Pellegrini scored the game winner in the 59th minute as AS Roma defeated CSKA Moscow 2-1 on the road.

At Plzen, Czech Republic:

Karim Benzema scored twice (21', 37'; that's him celebrating with teammates after one of his tallies) as Real Madrid destroyed FC Viktoria Plzen 5-0 on the road, leaving the Czech club eliminated from the tournament.

1.    Real Madrid (GP: 4; GD: +8; PTS: 9)
2.    AS Roma (GP: 4; GD: +6; PTS: 9)
3.    CSKA Moscow (GP: 4; GD: -3; PTS: 4)
4. z-FC Viktoria Plzen (GP: 4; GD: -11; PTS: 1)

NOTE:  Real Madrid had beaten visiting AS Roma 3-0 on September 19.
